On reflection I’d like to/ought to say a few positive things about my experience here in this 1/2 a hamlet that is marooned in corn fields and the ghetto company I now work for.
The nearly 2 months here has given me a rediscovered appreciation for the intricacy and complexity of manufacturing, even on the modest scale of the ghetto company. I am also learning more about manufacturing that I had “known” before. And Adding to my Japanese skills as well, though I now firmly believe I can translate, but not interpret. Just not the right synapses.
Have done a bit of keyword searching in the public drive at the ghetto company and if anything, they have consistently exhibited problems, the same problems, which probably explains why again within a month, execs from Japan are here to audit and if needed, raise hell.
