Went to a nearby mall to look at a dress shirt & tie as my circa 2007’s collect may be a bit dated and with a job interview (yes a job interview!!!) slated for this coming Tuesday, I don’t want to look like last year’s catalog.
There was sticker shock since its really been quite some time that I’ve gone and shopped for white collar work gear, but was that even more of a surprise was there were few dress shirts in my middle of the road size of 15 ½ X 33. Most shirts were size 16’s or 17’s. So has the average American make ballooned so that the predominate dress shirt size is larger than it used to be?
A full afternoon of annual tree pruning and I’ll bet my body feels it tomorrow.
