Even if you don’t understand Japanese, think you’ll get the picture.
(Apologies for the ad you first must endure)
Disgusting. No wonder our oceans are being fished dry. I cannot stand excess of any kind, especially when it comes to food. How much of this will end up in the garbage can?
That’s a good point. Probably a great deal of it, which is very contrary to what I came to understand of the traditional Japanese aberration to waste, especially when it comes to food.
Reminds me too of the silliness during the bubble years there; a restaurant in Tokyo serving humble buckwheat noodles (soba) sprinkled with gold leaf flakes.
Wow, just wow… The phrase “Eat, Drink and be Merry, for Tommorow we die” comes to mind.
Like so many, the vid won’t run on my ancient OS so I’ll have to take others at their word that this is some display of gluttony?
Think a 12-pounder sushi roll…
I don’t know which is more repulsive, the sushi roll or the can’t-possibly -consume nigiri zushi.
