On a Foggy Monday Morning

Odd that this morning, I’ll be out,  after a long period of time, later in the daily tidal movement of cars and people into and out of the city.  Will need to iron some shirts first, almost all of them are sitting crumpled in a box, left there after I left, not sure where all my ties are, and see I’ve got to dust off my dress shoes.

Where?  From the address and Google, in Georgetown.  Been told to bring nothing but myself, no dictionaries etc., so I suppose it’ll be wait and see what the work is, but  from what but from what I’ve been told, hey, life is sure ironic.    Don’t see any Caribou  Coffee stores nearby…hmmmmm.

However, this gig has a very definite end point, so don’t need to put my resume away or cancel my subscription to LinkedIn just yet.

Spent yesterday up at Harper’s Ferry, but it was too chilly -I was not dressed well enough- to walk about much. Watched the latest Harry Potter in Leesburg and was keenly disappointed, then picked up son from paintball. He was all smiles as he got himself an nice tip from one party. Guess he’s learning or has learnt, good customer service.

Yaaay for good tips! Uh oh on the Harry Potter review…You are the first ick one I have heard. I should just go see the film. And maybe, just maybe there is good coffee at the new workplace, so no need for Caribou? I like Caribou much better than Starbucks myself….

How long does it take to drive to Harper’s Ferry – and what is there to do once you get there?
